Our Mission
In many rural areas of Taiwan, parents often have to leave early for work — either farming their land or commuting to cities — leaving no time to monitor their children’s education. As a result, many of these children are raised primarily by their grandparents, who also cannot provide close academic guidance. This lack of support makes it difficult for teachers to engage students in learning. Through Equity for Remote Youth, I aim to reengage children in Taiwan’s rural communities and empower them with the courage, opportunities, and resources to explore new subjects and unlock their potential.
Our mission is aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 4,
which calls for inclusive and equitable quality education for all.
